Jenny Zhong Royalty (she/her)

Jenny came to the U.S. as an immigrant from China in elementary school. She cherishes her roots and grew up celebrating her culture through food, art, language and dance. Jenny has always been passionate about uplifting the underdog and making a positive impact in people's lives. She has worked in many issue areas in her career. Currently she serves as a Director at GRID Alternatives overseeing an initiative to install solar renewable energy for affordable housing. Prior to that role Jenny worked in economic mobility and workforce development with government agencies and community organizations. She also has years of experience working for the empowerment of people with disabilities. Jenny holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania. She lives in North County accompanied by her husband and personality-filled dog.
