Danny Milla (he/him)

Danny Milla is a passionate advocate for public service. He grew up in the Inland Empire witnessing firsthand the economic disparities impacting communities. His commitment to change began in high school and continued through his leadership roles in Circle K International and UC Santa Cruz student government where he focused on supporting transfer students.

As a first-generation college graduate, Danny earned his Political Science degree from UC Santa Cruz after transferring from Mt. San Antonio College. He gained invaluable experience interning for Congressman Pete Aguilar in Washington D.C. through the UCDC program, later joining Aguilar's district office to assist constituents with immigration and federal agency issues.

Relocating to San Diego in 2021, Danny currently serves as Senior Government Affairs Analyst for Cox Communications providing logistical support analysis and research. He actively contributes to the community through organizations like Casa Familiar and Casa Cornelia and is an alumnus of the San Diego Lead Program. Danny holds a bachelor's degree from UC Santa Cruz and a master's in public administration from Cal State San Bernardino.
