Martín Huici (he/him)

Martín Huici is a dedicated leader with expertise in developing, managing, and monitoring child care operations. He brings a unique perspective to SAY San Diego where he helped set up their very own onsite child care center and helps oversee the financial health and operational efficiency of the child care unit. As a founding member of Children First Collective San Diego, he joins on a weekly basis a diverse group of local professionals to advocate for a more robust child care sector including for better conditions for its workforce. This work is currently reflected in the implementation of the County of San Diego’s Child Care Blueprint.


Prior to his work at SAY San Diego, he was Director of Programs at a family services non-profit in San Jose California. He started his career working on large infrastructure projects in Latin America with the World Bank.


Martín has a Master of Arts in economics from the Toulouse School of Economics (France) a Master of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University and is a PMI Project Management Professional.


Books and music have always played a major role in Martín's life.
