Lucy Beck (she/her)

Raised by two public school teachers in Southern California's Inland Empire, Lucy Beck developed an early commitment to empowering communities and advancing equity. A mission-driven progressive with a deep appreciation for grassroots activism and community engagement, she is guided by three principles: Look out for each other, never cross a picket line, and don't assume that a lack of "success" is due to a lack of hard work.

After graduating from the University of Arizona, Lucy moved to Washington D.C. to pursue a career in politics and advocacy. Over the next eight years, she'd have the opportunity to work on high-impact political campaigns and spearhead innovative donor engagement initiatives with progressive issue-advocacy groups. She also championed electing Democratic pro-choice women while working at her dream organization EMILY’s List.

Since moving back to California to be closer to her family, Lucy has continued her mission-driven work blending her expertise in fundraising strategic planning and organizational development with a passion for local impact. Lucy is excited to bring her unwavering dedication to creating positive change whether through supporting candidates who reflect their communities or fostering inclusive spaces for dialogue and action to her new home in San Diego.
