Bardia Moojedi (he/him)

Health Services Project Coordinator

County of San Diego Health and Human Services Agency

Bardia moved to San Diego in 2013 to complete his bachelor’s degree in human biology and quickly fell in love with the region. Prior to joining the County of San Diego in 2019, he volunteered at healthcare organizations, where he learned about gaps and inequities in access to care. This ugly truth served as a driving force for a shift in the trajectory of his career.

Bardia completed his master’s degree in public health, with an emphasis in Health Management and Policy at San Diego State University. Since joining the County of San Diego, he has been a positive force in initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of San Diegans. He supported critical operations to safeguard the health of our residents in his role at the County Public Health Laboratory during the COVID-19 pandemic. Bardia currently serves as a Health Services Project Coordinator, supporting the Chief Operations Officer and the Agency Director, as well as liaising with Board of Supervisors offices and other Business Groups to ensure policies and programs align with the County’s vision of a just, sustainable, and resilient future for all.

He is committed to social justice and his mission is to improve the behavioral health system, immigration laws, elder care, eliminating homelessness, removing barriers to quality health care, maximizing public funds, and leveraging public/private partnerships to achieve positive outcomes for our diverse communities.
